Skyrim Ore Smelting Guide

If you want to smelting ore, you can read this Skyrim ore smelting guide. You must find a furnace or smelter to smelting ore which is typically in the shape of a very large, cone-shaped oven. You must know, not all forges have a smelter, but Whiterun has one.

Skyrim Ore

You can find the smelter in Whiterun, specifically on the right next to Warmaiden, just a few feet past the forge, grindstone at all. As part of the Smithing skill, ores can be turned in to Ingots at a smelter and then into Armor or Weapons at a Forge. However, this does not increase a skill. Ores respawn after 1 month in-game time.

To the west of Dawnstar amony the two offshore islands there is 4 Quicksilver ore veins.
